2. Strengthening Land Tenure & Landscape Management
This Component will support systematic land registration, registration of customary lands, and setting of village boundaries to strengthen land tenure security. It will support participatory mapping and registration of a targeted 5.2 million land parcels, including customary lands of IPLCs.
2. Strengthening Land Tenure & Landscape Management
The Component consists of:
- Integrated Multipurpose Cadastre. Supporting, in the Target Areas: (a) the PTSL of unregistered lands across Indonesia; (b) data quality improvement of the existing cadastral records with accuracy issues; ( c) upgrades of land records and cadastral maps for climate- responsive and multipurpose cadastre; and (d) field surveys and data construction for a 3- dimensional (3D) cadastre in major urban areas that require 3D-based propetty administration for better disaster management, climate-adaptive planning, and enhanced efficiency in revenue generation.
- Registration of Customary Land. Supporting enhancement of tenure security of Adat Communities in the Target Areas by facilitating the registration of Customary Land.
- Village Boundary Setting. Supporting Village Boundary Setting in the Target Areas through participatory mapping processes to establish agreed village boundaries, technical verification of boundary maps, and technical assistance and capacity building on Village Boundary Regulation drafting.
